Museo Alameda

  • 0
  • January 14, 2010

While working at Muñoz & Company I was often tasked to help with various designs for the Museo Alameda this included some small web projects, advertisements and the occasional invitation. The Museo was one of the first Smithsonian affiliated latino specific museums in the nation. Sadly, the museum has since been closed and ownership passed to Texas A&M University-San Antonio who continues to program exciting exhibitions and events in the space.

“2010” was designed for a series of exhibitions scheduled at the Museo Alameda to celebrate Mexico’s bicentennial in 2010. The idea was to switch out the images and patterns within the numbers throughout the life of the logo. This design was only used in internal promotional materials and never crossed into public marketing materials.

La Época de Oro
La Época de Oro was a gala celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Alameda Theater. The invitation and theme for the event looked to the unique art and architecture within the small San Antonio theater.
