BiblioTech is the nation’s first bookless (all-digital) public library in the United States. It opened in the fall of 2013 and serves the City of San Antonio and Bexar County, Texas. Through Muñoz & Company I was responsible for the new Library’s logo, unofficial mascot, Techolote, the owl and both interior and exterior graphics and signage.
On July 25, 2015 BiblioTech opened the doors to their second location, named in honor of UTSA president Dr. Ricardo Romo. Located on 2003 South Zarzamora St. the library is built into a San Antonio Housing Authority Apartment Complex. In addition to branding and design services I also provided event and architectural photography.
